LAMDA Distinction Grade for Loughton School group ...
Before the summer holiday, a group of talented year 6 children went to a centre for LAMDA in Northampton to take their grade one exam for drama. LAMDA stands for London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts and is highly esteemed. The higher grades even count for UCAS points so they are difficult to achieve. Not only did this group take the exam but they passed with distinction, dropping only 6 marks from 100. We are extremely proud of their achievement and look forward to seeing where it takes them. They worked exceptionally hard and completely deserve it.
