Biscuit Tectonics

Geography rapidly became everyone's favourite subject today as the children learned all about tectonic plate movements using biscuits and chocolate icing.  They had to move the biscuits to represent a divergent, convergent or transforming plate movement and we learned all about how this creates volcanoes.  It was a delicious way to learn!

Don't forget, the volcano exhibition is only a week and three days away.  Perhaps you could include something about plate tectonics in your project.
