Mrs Solloway once again had the pleasure of celebrating some fantastic writing in a special assembly.
On Friday 10 February we hosted the third of this year's star awards for Spring 1! This was to celebrate those children who have consistently demonstrated one of our 5 star values throughout the half term: resilient, respectful, creative, indepdent or inspiring.
Mrs Solloway, our writing champion, presented house tokens to the children chosen to display their writing in the writing corridor in our half termly writing celebration assembly.
Today we hosted our re-arranged star awards for Autumn 2! This was to celebrate those children who consistently demonstrated one of our 5 star values throughout the half term: resilient, respectful, creative, indepdent or inspiring.
The children have once again worked really hard on their Christmas window displays.
What a special moment it was at our recent Christmas carol concert to come together again and hear the wonderful singing from our children in years 4 and 5 after 2 years of having to share this event virtually with our Loughton School family. Thank you parents for coming out to support your child. We also managed to raise almost £45 on the night for your donations towards our mince pies and biscuits.
The school council thoroughly enjoyed getting into the Christmas spirit this afternoon by decorating our Christmas Giving Tree. What a super job they have done!
At the end of the first half term, we hosted our first ever Loughton School star awards! This was to celebrate those children who consistently demonstrated one of our 5 star values throughout the half term: resilient, respectful, creative, indepdent or inspiring.
The children thoroughly enjoyed making their way through the obstacles for our first ever colour run!

Years 3 and 4 had fantastic team building days!
Children in years 5 and 6 who did not go on a residential this week, had a fantastic activity morning with 'Let’s Leap'.
The creativity and story writing from all children was amazing. There were some really hilarious tales and some wonderful illustrations too. The children had clearly become very involved in the lives of the animals which have been sharing the school field. Well done to everyone who took part and thanks also to Mr Cox for providing the prizes.
