Friday 7th July: Bikeability Olympics

Six children took part in the heats for the Bikeability Olympics on Friday 30th June at Sports Central. The children came in second place overall to progress to the final's night.

The children from year 5 competed against 5 other schools for the Bikeability Olympics on Friday 7th July. The finals event consisted of 4 different challenges, where two of our young students collect bronze and silver medals. Everyone performed to their best and they were all excellent ambassadors for the school. The children should be so proud to have made it to the final and it will hopefully inspire others to get on their bike!

The children were presented their certificates and awards by the Mayor of Milton Keynes.

Thank you to all of the parents that supported and transported the children with their bikes to and from the venue.

Well done to Ivy, Natalia, Sophie, Jayden, Jessica & Avi

Monday 26th June: Athletics

We took our athletics team to Stantonbury Stadium to compete against 12 other schools. The children were extremely well behaved and every one of them tired their best. Their attitude and sportsmanship was outstanding. The events ranged from running, jumping, throwing and a relay race.

The team of 24 children consisted of children from year 3,4,5 and 6. The children trained hard every lunch time to improve their technique and ability. They were very supportive of each other and worked well in their team events and their individual events.

We achieved silver and bronze medals in the 400 meters and 100-meter sprints. The junior boys relay team also finished in 2nd place. Overall, a brilliant day out with talented children who represented the school in the best way possible.

Thursday 13th October: Football

Year 5&6 boys football team started their campaign with a win, 2 draws and a loss. The team played with passion and commitment and worked hard for one another. Some excellent goals were scored and we showed composure on the ball. Thank you to Miss Chappell, Miss Hawkes, Miss O’Connor and the parents for your support.

Saturday 8th October: Cross Country

24 children from year 4, 5 and 6 took part in the biggest cross-country event of the year. The girls and boys ran their socks off with every pupil finishing their race. The junior boys and girls ran 1500 meters and the senior boys and girls ran 2000 meters.

The Junior girls won silver and were so close to winning gold. Everyone that took part made the school standout for their excellent determination and spirit. They were all fantastic ambassadors for the school and we are so proud of them. Special thanks to Miss Chappell, Mrs Green, Mr Taylor, Mr Hodgson, Mrs McNeaney and all the parents and families for coming to help support.
