The ‘Student Voice’ is a group of children who help to make Loughton school even better.

We are the new Student Voice at Loughton School.   As our first action, we came up with an idea to raise some money for the charity 'Save the Children'.  Please click here to read about our fundraiser.

In our first term, we elected our class Student Voice representatives.  All of the children had an opportunity to apply and did so in 2 ways: a blog or a vlog (more details attached).  Once the children made their application, all of the children were encouraged to elect a member of their class democratically.  The Student Voice teaches the children about our British Values and encourages them to get involved with school life, have a say and learn that even if they aren’t a representative their voice will still be heard.
