This week in maths the children have been learning about money. They have been counting with notes and coins to find different amounts. They have learnt that 100 pence equals £1 and how to convert between pounds and pence. We have been adding different sums of money and finding how much more or less a range of items are. The unit will culminate in a practice shop where the children will test out all of their knowledge.
