On Tuesday 14th November, children across the school had the opportunity to take part in a live webinar to learn about the 4 fundamental British Values (Democracy, Rule of Law, Respect and Tolerance, and Individual Liberty) through Picture News; a resource we subscribe to, to learn about current affairs.
Our first history enrichment session of the year took place this week.
On Wednesday 8 November we held our first PE enrichment afternoon of the year.
Today, some of the children in years 3-6 took part in a reading enrichment afternoon!

On Thursday 2 November we had over 80 ambassadors return to school in the evening to showcase some of the many subjects we offer at Loughton School to prospective parents. We had a range of activities being demonstrated: science investigation, DT, music including garage band, PE, art, LS News, geography including the digi-map software, languages, maths, library and English.
Despite the weather, we still had a good turn out of parents who wanted to find out more about our school. There were some lovely compliments and insightful questions from the prospective parents.

Today, some of the school's creative writers joined together to write advertising poetry based on the Walkers' Quavers packet rhyme.
