Year 4 started the summer term with a bang! This week the children designed and made catapults inspired by Roman weapons. The children used the DT skills they learnt last year when they made royal carriages to help them create their catapults. Working in groups of three, they made frames out of wood and constructed a mechanism to fire marshmallows.
