STEM week!

This week, we’ve been celebrating STEM Week in year 3 – a fantastic opportunity for children to explore Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths through exciting, hands-on learning.
Our Year 3 pupils have embraced the challenge of designing and beginning to build their very own modern royal carriages. Working in groups, the children have been full of imaginative ideas, thinking about what a royal carriage might look like in the 21st century.
The designs have included features such as air conditioning, fridges, and even eco-friendly elements like solar panels and electric power. It’s been wonderful to see how the children have combined creativity with practical thinking, using their STEM skills to bring their ideas to life.
We’re looking forward to seeing how the carriages develop over the coming days – and we’re so proud of the innovative thinking shown by all our Year 3 children.
