Beginning to learn all about recycling! As an extension to the Year 5 Geography unit on Rainforests, we have been learning about the preservation of our planet. This has included researching key figures such as David Attenborough and discussing what we can do to help. 

Year 5 have been amazing at sharing what they already do to reduce, reuse and recycle, as well as discussing other actions we can take to make sure we’re doing our bit! Some of our favourite ideas included litter-picking, reusing materials found in our homes and not wasting paper! 

It’s been wonderful to see how passionate and positive Year 5 have been throughout this topic and don’t forget, REDUCE, REUSE and RECYCLE!
