Starting to learn all about Space! Not only have we been reading about space during Guided Reading, we have also been starting to write our own astronaut’s log during English lessons, imagining we were actually on the Apollo 11 mission to the moon!

I Theme, we have been gaining a further understanding about space, from the very beginning to present day! This has included looking at theories and scientists, plotting the distance of the planets from the sun outside and now researching each planet, creating posters and presenting what we know to the rest of the class!

Year 5 have been fantastic at sharing their facts and knowledge about space, showcasing their passion and interest and are all very excited about the upcoming trip to the Space Centre!
