Looking at the Vikings! Before we begin our unit all about the Vikings, Year 5 have been researching and understanding Viking art and how the Vikings showcased their artistic talent on jewellery, armour and various other items! We looked at the intricate patterns that make up Viking art and how to recreate them.

Year 5 designed their own Viking shields based on these traditional Viking patterns and cannot wait to learn even more about Viking life, starting next week!
