Staying Safe Online with Google Interland

In the last week of the half-term, Year 5 spent time exploring internet safety with Google Interland.
Through this interactive and engaging online game, the children learned how to make safe choices when using the internet. They explored important topics such as creating strong passwords, spotting scams, being kind and respectful online and thinking carefully before sharing personal information.
The pupils particularly enjoyed tackling the different challenges and discussing real-life scenarios together, which helped them understand how to apply these lessons beyond the classroom. It was wonderful to see such thoughtful conversations about digital responsibility and the children showed great maturity when considering how to keep themselves and others safe online.
