Year 5 Viking Projects Showcase

Year 5 have been hard at work this term exploring the fascinating world of the Vikings, and their project homework has truly brought history to life! Children were invited to create something inspired by Viking life, and we were amazed by both the effort and creativity shown across the year group.

Over the past week, a wonderful variety of projects arrived in school. We saw beautifully crafted Viking longboats, complete with shields and sails; impressive wooden and cardboard shields decorated with traditional patterns; detailed models of Viking houses and settlements; and many other imaginative creations. Each project reflected careful thought, research, and a huge amount of hard work.

To celebrate, pupils proudly showcased their work to the rest of Year 5, sharing what they had learned along the way. We are incredibly proud of their enthusiasm and dedication—well done to all our young historians!
