It was great to see the improvement in presentation, handwriting and spelling this half term with the year 3s producing some very exciting newspaper reports based on the Iron Man by Ted Hughes and a biography of Queen Elizabeth II. 

Year 4 had been letting their creative juices flow with their versions of the escape from Monkey City inspired by Rudyard Kipling's Jungle Book and some imaginative retellings of the adventures of a young boy and his Grandpa adapted from a short film called "Taking Flight".

Well done to Abby, Liepa, Nico, Isabella, Thisan, Anya, Chelsea and Yusuf, whose writing is now displayed in the writing corridor.
