Year 6s journey to MK Library

On our excursion to MK library, the children did us proud!  It was so lovely to be out of school after such an intense week the week before.  We enjoyed the nice weather and had the opportunity to have a chat and relax a little bit.

Once at the library, the children listened intently to Kirsty, who spoke to them all about the range of books that were on offer to borrow and gave them a bit of a sneak peek into William Shakespeare and the story of Macbeth.  The children had the opportunity to explore the library and had time to settle down and enjoy a book of their choice.

During our visit, all of our children demonstrated all of the school values, especially respect.

Kirsty concluded the session with a poem all about the journey the children are on, which is particularly relevant at this time of the year as the children start to consider leaving Loughton and continuing their education adventure.

A good morning was had by all.
