Residential week

We had lots of fun in school whilst some of the year group were in France or Liddington.
It was a pleasure to teach the year 6 children this week. We had a busy, fun-filled week. The children were tasked with making all the props for our upcoming production: Who's your mummy? They worked well collaboratively to make an underground train, a sarcophagus, a variety of mobile phones and much more. The children also participated in a range of different activities offered by Let's Leap: archery, laser tag, dodge ball and zorbing. Thankfully the weather was on our side; although it was warm, there was cloud cover all day. On the Friday, we celebrated multicultural day in which the children brought in food from their culture to share with the class, spoke to their peers about their culture and many took part in a fashion show where they showed off their traditional clothes. It was a lovely week. Well done to all of those children who made it so enjoyable.
