On Monday this week, the children of year 3 joined forces with many other nations to consider how we use the internet safely and discussed how we can make it safer still. The children looked in depth at AI. They focused on understanding which parts of the human brain that it can mimic, including decision-making and interpreting language. They thought about the current limitations by spotting inconsistence. They also realised where in their daily lives they might experience interacting with AI i.e. Alexa, SIRI or television streaming services.

Then they had the chance to practise their skills with an AI program which they enjoyed, learning along with the program and sharing their experiences in the classroom.
