Tower of London Visits.

Year 3 visited the Tower of London on Tuesday 3rd & Wednesday 4th March.
This week, saw the much anticipated trips to the Tower of London supplementing our history learning. The children participated in a crime and punishment workshop and found out about the prisoners who were kept, tortured and executed within the Tower's walls. After that, we were able to explore the magnificent Crown jewels. The children got to see up close the different crowns and valuable objects that KIng Charles III wore and used during his coronation in 2023.
We also visited the White Tower ( built during the reign of William I ) where nowadays the royal armoury is stored. The children were fascinated by all the armour, weapons and artifacts were kept. They were able to see Henry VIII's suit of armour in all its glory.
The children were a credit to the school and impressed the castle guides with their knowledge of Kings & Queens.
