On 11th November and in the days leading up to it, our Year Six students thought about the significance of Remembrance Day. This special occasion gave us the opportunity to pause and remember the bravery and sacrifices made by those who served in wars and conflicts to protect our freedoms.
Wednesday 22nd October, the year 6 children visited Bletchley Park.

Today, we turned back time to learn some dance moves from the early decades of the 1900s to bring our World War Two topic to life. The children practised their Jive, Swing, Jitterbug and Lindyhop moves during a one-hour workshop and then performed their routine to the other classes this afternoon. We were all proud of the way the children remembered their routines and got really stuck in to the session with enthusiasm.
