Year 6 had a truly unforgettable experience today with a special Animal Encounters visit and what a fantastic session it was!

The children were excited to meet a variety of fascinating animals, including a chameleon, a python, a tarantula, a little owl and even a skunk! Each animal sparked curiosity and amazement and there were plenty of “wow” moments throughout the visit.

The expert who led the session shared lots of interesting facts about each animal, explaining how they are adapted to their environments and what makes them so unique. She also answered many of the children’s thoughtful questions, helping to deepen their understanding.

We were especially proud of how brave and respectful the children were. Many stepped well outside their comfort zones, showing great courage and maturity as they observed and, in some cases, got up close to the animals.

It was a fun, engaging and educational experience. A huge thank you to Animal Encounters for such a memorable visit!
