Year 6 have been exploring the six major world biomes—desert, rainforest, tundra, grassland, savannah and woodlands—through a collaborative research project. Working in groups, they investigated each biome’s climate, wildlife and key features while developing teamwork and communication skills. The children then presented their findings on a large group poster. They will be using this research to inform their next piece of independent writing.
