Roll up.... roll up!

The circus is in town!

What an exciting day we have had in year 3. All classes enjoyed a wonderful circus workshop today and what a show they put on when they came together at the end of the day to show off their skills. Each workshop was filled with energy, laughter and determination as the children tried their hand at a range of thrilling activities. Colourful beanbags and scarves were flying through the air as the children learnt to juggle. The children showed great concentration and coordination as they practised throwing and catching these objects. Children tested their core strength and focus on balance boards. They loved the challenge of trying to stay steady on the boards. It was great to watch them try and stay upright. There were plenty of giggles as the children bounced around the hall on lolo balls. It was trickier than it looked, but the children showed great perseverance. One of the biggest highlights was plate spinning, where children were encouraging each other to stay still to ensure the plates didn’t topple off and onto the ground.

A huge thank you to the visiting circus coach whose performance and patience made it such a magical day.

Watch out for the year 3 circus coming to a town near you!
