Team Germany informed us that the children were up, happy and enjoying breakfast by 7:30am our time before enjoying a brilliant day out in Koblenz. The children all made their lunches before setting off. After a cloudy start, the weather brightened up to allow them to enjoy a walk outdoors - a walk along the Rhine, time at a park, picnic lunch and then the cable car up to the Festung (fortress). Luckily, Mr Sullivan had remembered to bring a football for an impromptu game. This evening, they are all enjoying a game of bowling at the bowling alley. Happy birthday to Kiki!
