It's the second week and the children in the year 3 are now settled into the routines of Loughton School. Despite the rain, the children have remained positive and happy to be in school. We have started to read The Tale of Peter Rabbit. The children have enjoyed finding out about this mischievous rabbit and his adventures in Mr McGregor's garden.  We have used the story to help us write sentences and our own version of what happens in the story.  As part of our new topic on amazing animals, year 3 have classified animals. We now  know the difference between a herbivore and a carnivore!
