On Wednesday 4th November year 3 took part in an outdoor adventurous activities day (OAA day). The children spent all day outside and took part in a range of activities. We worked in groups building dens and completed treasure hunts across the school field. With adult supervision, we learnt how to use a steel and flint to create a spark. The children had to think about the three elements needed for fire to thrive. It was lovely to see the children engaging with the outside environment and learning new skills. They particularly enjoyed roasting marshmallows on a camp fire.
