Last Friday, the Celts and Romans fought an almighty battle on the school playground. Each side was ready for war with their beautifully made shields and swords. As the Romans marched towards the top playground, they chanted and got themselves ready for the battle. Boudicca gave a passionate speech before the battle which spurred on the Celts. 

Each side battled bravely, but as history would dictate, the Romans succeeded and slayed many Celts. 

The children had a fantastic time and showed how much they had learnt. There were many children who displayed Roman tactics during the battle and some who perfectly demonstrated the chaotic nature of the Celts!
