I am a Parent Governor and I have one child in Year 5 and another in Year 2.  I have lived and worked in Loughton since 2009 and decided to become a Governor as a way of giving something back to the community in which I live.  I have an educational background, having been a primary school teacher since 1999. I am a Primary Maths Specialist Teacher but also have particular interests in Phonics and Reading, Geography, History and Languages.  I hope that my skills and knowledge can enable me to support the children and staff at Loughton School during their educational journey.  When I have spare time, I enjoy watching films and taking part in quizzes.
