To help us celebrate our upcoming (virtual) harvest assembly and give to those in need at such a challenging time, a whole school homework project was set to donate an item to the local foodbank (attached below). This could be done simply as most MK supermarkets have a food donation trolly/box. We have had lots of photos sent in - well done to everyone who has made a thoughtful donation!

What a fantastic first week back we have had at Loughton School. The children (and parents) have been wonderful at learning all our new routines and the school has been full of smiles and learning.
This week, each class across the school engaged in Take One Book week, with each class spending a whole week on activities all related to one book.

This year marks the 75th anniversary of VE (Victory in Europe) Day. This is to celebrate when World War II came to an end.
The staff and govenors of Loughton School were kept busy during their Easter bank holiday weekend with our 'decorate the egg' competition and we think they look fantastic. Do you agree?
On Friday 20 March we hosted our FABULOUS FRIDAY celebrations. Children were allowed to come to school in colourful and cheerful clothing in exchange for a donated item (if they were able).
We hosted our monthly tea party for those children who consistently reflect our school values and go above and beyond. This month's theme was Spring.
