We hosted our monthly tea party for those children who consistently reflect our school values and go above and beyond. The valentines theme made this feel extra special.
We are pleased to announce that 5 of our Creative Writers have had their mini sagas accepted for publication by "Young Writers" following a competition which we entered in December.
The 100-word sagas were written by Charlotte, Dunja, Eve, Natalie and Ruchitha.

Today we hosted the next of our tea parties for those children who have been noticed for going above and beyond.
On Friday 10th January the year 5/6 football team took part in the finals of the MK Dons EFL football competition. The tournament consisted of 6 matches and the top four teams from 2 groups progressed to the semi finals.
Loughton School are still in the lead with 267 tokens!
Thank you to all the parents, grandparents, aunties, uncles and other family members who joined our children today for the first of this year's family open days.
On Tuesday 17th December, the Year 5 and 6 Loughton cast of ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’, Mrs Gates, Ms Churchman and Mrs Vernon set off to Denbigh School to watch their Year 7, 8, 9 solely student led performance of ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’!
This term's photography club has ended in a flash!
Our final count of presents left under our giving tree for families in need this Christmas was 267! Shreesha, Pixie, Lacey and Eden helped to deliever all of these to the Moorlands family centre this morning - although you can barely see their faces above the mountain of presents! In the end, all these gifts filled 3 cars. We really are overwhelmed with all your generosity.
Today we held our festive themed December tea party. As you will now already know, this is for those children who consistently go above and beyond. We had a lovely afternoon with the children celebrating with them.
