A fantastic evening at Young Voices at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC)

Last Friday, we were absolutely delighted to board the buses and head to the NEC for the Young Voices concert — the largest children’s choir concert in the world. From the very start of our journey, there was a wonderfully bubbly atmosphere, with children chatting excitedly and even breaking into song on the bus!
Throughout the day and into the evening, our pupils truly discovered the power and confidence of their voices. They listened carefully and followed the Young Voices conductor with great focus and enthusiasm, performing brilliantly alongside schools from across the country. Singing as part of such a vast choir to a packed audience of proud parents and ticket holders was an unforgettable experience.
It was particularly heart warming to see some of our quieter children come out of their shells — singing, dancing and embracing the energy of the various artist performances. The joy on their faces said it all.
We are incredibly proud of every single child who took part. Their behaviour, commitment and enthusiasm were exceptional, and they represented our school wonderfully. Thank you to the staff and families who supported this memorable event — it is one we will be talking about for a long time to come!
