Break the rules day

Today was our annual Break the Rules Day and the children had a great time showcasing their funky hairstyles, amazing outfits and eating their usually forbidden snacks in class or on the playground! We even struggled to recognise some children who had come in wearing face paints and costumes!
Children paid 20p for every rule they chose to break from a selection of 12 and the money raised will go towards updating the outside play equipment and playground activities, as voted for by the children, through their school councillors. So far, we have raised almost £440 and the ParentMail donation station will remain open until after the Easter holidays when we will announce the final total.
Thank you to everyone who joined in and to all staff for supporting this fun initiative.
