  • Story writing competition

    The creativity and story writing from all children was amazing. There were some really hilarious tales and some wonderful illustrations too. The children had clearly become very involved in the lives of the animals which have been sharing the school field. Well done to everyone who took part and thanks also to Mr Cox for providing the prizes.

  • MK instrumental festival

    It was an honour for some of Loughton School's staff members to accompany some children to the instrumental festival on Tuesday 22nd June in the afternoon. The children were so brave to go on stage in front of such a large audience and all of them played beautifully. The staff and parents were all very proud.

  • Winners of the mosaic community design competition

    We are so proud to announce that out of 250 entries from children in the local area, 5 out of the 6 winning designs have been chosen to feature in a mosaic community project were children from Loughton School. Well done to: Olivia HB5, Evie HB6, Aanya HB7, Sharanya HB8 and Liam HB11.

    These children have also been invited to go and help make the community mosaic to see their animal come to life!

  • Grand opening of our new school library

    We took the opportunity during the last academic year throughout the library's long closure (due to Covid-19) to renovate this space making it colourful, inviting and comfortable in order for our children to enjoy using the space each week in their library sessions and to promote a snuggly space to read for pleasure.
