School based child-care for those children deemed as 'exceptions' -

The school will be partially open to children deemed an exception to school closures from Monday 23 March 8:40am-3:15pm. As previously advised, we apologise but we are unable to run our Wrap-Around care due to our own staff shortages.

Children will be required to enter through reception at a staggered drop off time between 8:40-9:00am and will exit through reception at the end of the school day, upon your arrival, during a staggered finish time of 3:00-3:15pm. They will need to bring a packed lunch with them (unless they qualify for free school meals) as our external catering company, Chartwells, will not be on site.

We will operate from 2 designated classrooms in lower key stage 2 with one small class per year group. We may also occasionally operate as mixed year group classes. Children will be required to attend in school uniform to keep some form of normality. Please ensure any required medicines are sent in with your child.

Our reception will not be staffed all day and so we will be unable to answer phone calls past 10am. Your main point of contact each day to report if your child is unable to attend or for any general queries please contact a member of SLT:

Ellie Frost, Deputy Headteacher (Acting), at froste@loughton.school

Nana Brago, our Pastoral Champion, at bragon@loughton.school

Charlie McNeaney, our Academic Champion, at mcneaneyc@loughton.school
