Family Open Day

We wish to thank all the family members who joined us for our first open day.

We had over 150 mums, dads, granddads, aunties and even older sisters coming to visit the children in their classrooms and take part in one of the fun, practical activities over the course of the day.

The range of activities throughout the school included pizza making, reindeer hot chocolate making, creative writing, sepia photos, black out poetry, felt Christmas tree decorations, maths co-ordinates, marshmallow snowmen, showcasing homework, Christmas card making and lots more fun.  We even had Mr George leading the activities in a year 6 class during the afternoon!

The feedback we had from family members was overwhelmingly positive and we have already had several emails in to thank us for hosting the day and to say they have had a lovely time.  We welcome any further feedback you may have.

If you didn’t manage to join us this time, we hope to see you at our Spring term family open day on 5 April 2019.

This time, it’s just the morning, and all of the children will be taking part in the Loughton Mile Fundraiser.

All parents, carers and family are welcome at the following times:

9.15 to 10.15 – years 3 and 4

10.30 to 12.15 – years 5 and 6

 Please save the date.
