Computing enrichment

Learning new computing skills to prepare for the future.

On Friday, 16 children took part in our spring computing enrichment task. The children were tasked with solving the traditional problem of a farmer trying to get a chicken, fox and corn across a river by acting it out. In doing so, they developed their logical reasoning skills. The children were also able to link how this task could help them when programming as it helped develop their understanding of algorithms, decomposition and debugging.
All the children had an enjoyable time and worked wonderfully in their groups.
