Geography enrichment
Children across the school came together to take part in the first of many curriculum enrichment sessions for this term. After a quick discussion about Geography and a look through their work, which they were very proud to show off, they took part in a map symbols matching activity.
The aim was to link up 12 official ordnance survey map symbols with the word that it represents. The children completed the task quickly and effectively and all worked well as a team. They were all shocked to discover there are 90 map symbols all together. A fun afternoon with some budding geographers!
