Girls win silver in County Championships!
I'm sure you've been following the success of our girls' football team this year. From winning 22 matches, they went through to the County Final against teams from all over Buckinghamshire. After a thrilling match, they conceded 1 goal to come a very close second in the final match.
One of our parents wrote to us to say, "I had to write to you to say how proud I am of the girls’ football team. They have certainly done the school proud. They should all be proud of what they have accomplished. My daughter was in floods of tears as she really wanted to bring home the gold medal for her school. It would have been nice to come first but I think that second place in a County final is a massive achievement. I am happy that I made the decision to send my daughter to Loughton. It has transformed her from a shy and withdrawn girl into a confident, responsible and competitive person. Thank you all for helping to mould her into a STAR!."
An enormous thank you to all of the parents who supported this journey, to Mr Sullivan as coach, but most of all to our fantastic representatives of the Loughton School family who have gained an enormous achievement.
