This week, year 5 have been fortunate to welcome staff from Hazard Alley into school to deliver a workshop on knife crime.

Each class had a session where they learnt about the age of criminal responsibility and the consequences of carrying a knife.  The children followed the story of Fin and looked at the consequences and the choices he made within his friendship group.

The children worked collaboratively to discuss what they had learnt and asked lots of thought-provoking questions.
