To showcase their learning of the Ancient Maya, year 6 have been building their own models of a typical Maya civilisation! They have used a range of materials to create their models and have used their knowledge of Mayan buildings to make their structures as accurate as possible. They have included buildings such as: temples, pok-a-tok stadiums, observatories and simple Maya homes. It has been an exciting project to end a very busy half term!
