As a school we take part in a number of fixtures and festivals and have a number of sports teams for children to get involved with including football, x-country, tag rugby, korfball, dodge ball, netball, basketball, athletics, rounders, cricket, badminton and gymnastics. We are very proud that children of all sporting abilities get the chance to represent our school in these fixtures. In 2021-22, 75% of our children represented the school in a sporting fixture.

Our facilities include a sports hall for gymnastics and dance, one large playground for sports such as basketball and hockey, a smaller playground for korfball and an extensive field for pitch games such as football or rugby. We also have a mile track on each playground for the children to run or walk round frequently to keep fit.

Many of our extra-curricular club opportunities have a sporting focus ranging last year from athletics to zumba to kwik cricket. We are delighted that 75% of our children joined a club last year.

We work on teaching children through fun and enjoyment but also involving key aspects such as being independent, being respectful at all times, being inspiring to others, showing creativity and being resilient.
