Safeguarding and Security

If you have Child Protection or Safeguarding concerns outside school hours, please contact the school safeguarding number on 07879 528704, and a member of the team will be happy to get back to you as quickly as possible.

Our first priority is children’s welfare and safety and therefore there may be occasions when our concerns about a child mean that we have to consult with other agencies. The procedures we follow are clearly laid out in our Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy (available from our website). If you would like to know more about this procedure, please speak to the Head teacher.  Mrs Rebekah Green is the lead member of staff with the designated role of Child Protection.  Mrs Shelley Cadman is our designated governor for Safeguarding.  Please click here to see a copy of our Safeguarding & Child Protection Policy.

We are very proud of the proactive way we ensure children feel safe in school and know what to do should they feel unsafe for any reason. Should you have any queries or concerns regarding Safeguarding, then you should contact Mrs Green for advice and information.

PREVENT - as you may be aware, the Counter-Terrorism and Security Act 2015 places new reporting requirements on schools and academies. Please click here for further details or see the National Community Advice Leaflet.

Gates to the school will open at 8:40am and will close before 9:00am. At the end of the school day gates will open again at 3:15pm and will close again at 5:00pm. The doors to the classroom will close at 8:45am. After this time, the only access to the school will be through the main entrance/reception.

The access to the school car park is electronically operated.  For safety reasons parents/carers will not have access to the car park at the beginning and end of the day.

The School offers a wide range of extra-curricular activities.  Permission for children to attend activities outside the school day (8:40 am - 3:15 pm) will be sought. After school clubs finish at approximately 4:15 pm and collection of your child will be from the main entrance where a member of staff will sign your child out.

For further information and guidance, you may wish to consult the Milton Keynes Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub, which deals with all enquiries relating to this area.
