On Wednesday 2^nd September the children returned to school ready for the new school year. To start the new term and to help the children get used to the routines of new classes, we have started the year by working together and doing activities to help build new relationships and getting to know each other. 

The work carried out has been based around a selection of different books chosen by the class teachers. HB9 used "Gregory Cool" by Caroline Binch, HB10 " the search for the Giant Arctic Jellyfish by Chloe Savage, HB11 "Nim's Island by Wendy Orr and HB12 "Gordon the Meanest Goose on Earth by Alex Latimer. 

The children used these books as inspiration and a stimulus for discussion work, writing and artwork as a way of getting back into the swing of things. 

A lot of fun has been had by all.
