This morning, we proudly celebrated our very first Year 3 Writing Assembly since our children joined Loughton School.
Over the past few weeks, the children have worked incredibly hard learning the story of Peter Rabbit by Beatrix Potter before creating and writing their own alternative endings. We were delighted to celebrate three children, one from each class, who were selected for their outstanding effort and commitment to their writing.
Their work showcased ambitious vocabulary, creative ideas and a determined effort to use a range of punctuation accurately and effectively. The Year 3 team is immensely proud of all the children and the progress they have made in their first independent piece of writing this year.
Our Writing Champions this half-term are:
HB1: Soraya
HB2: Remi
HB3: Lily
Congratulations to our champions and well done to everyone in Year 3 for their hard work and enthusiasm.
Keep aiming high Year 3. Will your writing be the one we celebrate next half-term?
