Our School Council had a wonderful time at lunchtime today decorating our Christmas Giving Tree. The children threw themselves into the festive spirit, and we’re sure you’ll agree that the tree looks absolutely brilliant!
As we enter this season of kindness and community, we’d love your support with our Christmas Giving appeal. We are collecting gift donations for children aged 0–18, with a special focus on teenagers, who are often the most overlooked at this time of year.
Donations can be brought into school from now until Friday 5th December. These will then be delivered to the local Children’s Centre on Monday 8th December.
What can you donate?
Items could include toys, books, scarves, hats, gloves, toiletries and other small gifts (please avoid anything battery operated). All items should be new or in “as new” condition. We are also collecting wrapping paper, gift tags and tape.
Please note that gifts should not be wrapped, as this allows parents to choose the most suitable items for their children.
Your generosity will make a real difference to local families this Christmas, and we are incredibly grateful for your support of this meaningful cause.
Thank you for helping us spread some festive cheer!

Today, sixteen of our young writers gathered together to find out what makes a home for us all. We read a lovely book by Joe Todd-Stanton called "The Comet" which told the story of Nyla who has to leave her home in the country for a city high-rise when her dad needs to find work.

Well done to our year 3 & 4 writers!
We are thrilled to share an exciting update on the School Council Courtyard Renovation! The transformation has been completed, and our students have been actively involved in shaping this space into something truly special.

From fruit trees to nurture, a stage area for performances and even a beach-inspired space, the courtyard has become a vibrant hub designed for exploration, relaxation, and connection. It’s been a joy to see children making the most of the space during lunchtimes and relaxation breaks—whether they’re enjoying imaginative play on the stage, engaging in games, or simply soaking up the calm of the beach area.
One of the standout features has been the fishpond, which has captured the children's curiosity as they excitedly try to spot each fish darting beneath the surface.
Congratulations to our brilliant Year 4 pupils who have earned stars for demonstrating our 5-star values: being resilient, respectful, creative, independent and inspiring!
We’re incredibly proud of your efforts – keep it up!
Another proud moment for some of our best writers in year 3 & 4 as we celebrated this half term's awesome creations!
