Last week, the children enjoyed reading Peter Rabbit by Beatrix Potter and talking about Peter's adventures in Mr McGregor’s Garden. As part of our learning, we explored what real rabbits do, including where they live, what they eat and how they stay safe from predators. We linked this to our theme work on animals and discovered that rabbits are herbivores, which means they eat plants such as grass, leaves and vegetables. The children shared lots of wonderful ideas and enjoyed writing sentences based on their learning.
