This term, Year 3 have been busy exploring the world as part of our theme Topic, Geography! We have been learning all about three fascinating continents: Asia (HB3), Africa (HB2) and North America (HB1).

The children have been developing their research skills and discovering lots of interesting facts about their class continent. We have explored where the continents are located on a world map, learnt about different countries and investigated their unique landscapes, climates and famous landmarks.

Our geography learning has also helped us prepare for our English writing, where the children will use their research to create their very own continent fact file. They have been gathering information, identifying key facts and thinking carefully about how to organise their findings so that they can share their knowledge clearly with others.

We are looking forward to seeing the children's finished fact files and finding out which fascinating facts they choose to include!
