The children spent two days actively learning about drones and coding. During their session, the children gained hands on experience on how to fly a basic drone. Year 4 were able to gain a basic understanding of how drones fly and how a basic programming language can work. This built on the work that they had done using the Scratch programme and enabled them to experience first-hand how programing language works in the real world. They were able to develop their motor skills and work together to solve problems creatively.
