During their PE lessons last week, all the children in Year 4 took part in cross-country to enable the team that will represent Loughton School to be selected.

We were incredibly impressed by the talent, speed and determination shown across the year group. Most of all, though, we were proud to see the resilience demonstrated by every single pupil who took part.

Running can be challenging, but every child gave it their all and showed great perseverance from start to finish. It was wonderful to see so many children pushing themselves, supporting one another and showing such a positive attitude.

A huge well done to everyone — you should all be very proud of yourselves!
