    Learning where the Vikings came from

    Scandinavia on the map

    In our geography lessons this week, we have been learning all about where the Vikings came from - Scandinavia. The children have been enjoying using their atlas skills to locate the countries of Scandinavia and label them on their own map.

    So far, we have learnt that Scandinavia is made up of three main countries - Norway, Denmark and Sweden. It is located in northern Europe, in the Arctic Circle and has a varied climate. Please see the photos below of our map work.
